What is CBD and what is Cannabidiol?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of at least 60 active cannabinoids identified in cannabis. It is a major phytocannabinoid, accounting for up to 40% of the plant’s extract. CBD is considered to have a wider scope of medical applications than tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

CBD.LV represents farmers, producers and researchers of the industrial hemp that can be used for CBD production and extraction. Along the hemp seed and hemp fiber production we take part in study and research projects that are orientated towards better use of hemp unique characteristics and many applications in everyday use.
